aims to develop innovative vocational education and training, working with experts from five different European regions to phase out fossil fuels and contributing to Europe becoming a fossil free energy continent.

SEED is a CoVE (Centres of Vocational Excellence) programme. CoVE’s are part of the Erasmus+ programme aiming to establish transnational platforms on, among others, regional development, innovation and inclusion.

Objective 1

Prepare practitioners and existing professionals with
the necessary skills and competencies for the future

Objective 2

Empower innovation based on regional needs by reinforcing the connections
within the regions

Objective 3

Enhance and promote the attractiveness of work-based education-based on a coherent set of criteria on regional impact and skills​

Objective 4

Establish an international learning community as a way to exchange knowledge and mobility of trainers and trainees, provide opportunities for domestic students and, ultimately, develop a common vision for the future

Objective 5

Establish CoVEs, one in each of the participating regions, that would provide high quality vocational skills

📌 Today, Day 2 of the Bochum meeting, SEED Partners had the chance to discuss and elaborate on the specific details of five regional plans as well as the next actions that will take place in each regional CoVE.🎯 With the regional development plans finalised, all partners were able to discover common goals, further study new and/or identical actions, and develop mutual inspirations. 📍 Today, SEED Partners met in Bochum, Germany for their 5th transnational meeting at the facilities of the Bochum University of Applied Sciences. 🎉 Exciting News from the University of Western Macedonia - Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Μακεδονίας’s good practice! 🌎 ✨We're thrilled to announce the launch of an innovative Professional Postgraduate Programme: "Modern Electric Distribution Networks – HEDNO(Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network) ". This groundbreaking initiative is a collaboration between the University of Western Macedonia and the HEDNO, marking a significant step towards integrating the labour market with the scientific community through energy transition and innovation. 🔌 💡The programme is designed to equip HEDNO executives and graduates from Engineering and Science Departments with advanced skills in the development and intelligent management of the national electricity grid.
